Summary of Duties

This position reports to the Classical 101 Program Director. The Music Manager is primarily responsible for the maintenance of the Classical 101 CD library and software, for generating daily music playlists for hosts, and for hosting a live or pre-recorded regular music show. Music Manager will contribute to digital content and will create quarterly reports for SoundExchange, or other required reports. Music Manager will assist with on-air fundraising and station events as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communication; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; experience hosting and producing classical music programs and arts features, preferably in public radio; extensive knowledge of classical music repertoire, recordings, and artists; ability to work collaboratively with peers and supervisors and work effectively under deadlines.
