Summary of Duties

We are looking for a passionate, driven Web & Mobile solutions analyst to add to our current team. Our products are used by the majority of our 60,000 students, faculty, staff, alumni, and Buckeyes far and wide.

With the working title of Solutions Analyst-Intermediate, this role will serve as a key member of the OCIO Applications Services Team, reporting to the Director of Web and Mobile Development. The foundation of this role is a combination of business and systems analysis, project management, and relationship management. This role requires a strong user focus as well as the ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly become knowledgeable in a dynamic range of development opportunities. The Solutions Analyst bridges the gaps between customers and development teams, and requires a strong mix of leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

There are four primary tasks that form the basis of the solutions analyst job description: defining scope and requirements, isolating key issues, positioning and negotiating possible solutions, and managing execution and delivery. The entire team also provides ongoing daily support and incident resolution for our Web & Mobile applications as required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 3-5 years of experience in an analyst, project manager, or product manager positions; 3-5 years of experience doing design, implementation, and iteration over systems and business processes; ability to facilitate in-depth solution conversations via e-mail, conference calls, whiteboard concepts, presentations, demos, and written assessments with all levels of customers, including management; ability to work with technical and non-technical customers alike, both independently and as part of a team; ability to handle numerous tasks autonomously and provide detailed, consistent, and prompt follow-up; proven track record of improving product and customer experience by working cross-functionally across sales, business development, marketing, support, and engineering organizations; acute attention to detail, an ability to thrive in deadline driven situations, and a passion for continued learning and acquisition of new skills.

Desired Qualifications

Ability to work in a functional team of 2-4 individuals with diverse skillsets and backgrounds; ability to create strategies to address change management issues.

Target Salary $70,529.00 - $86,202.00 Annually
