|Summary of Duties||
Conducts research and service in NMR-based metabolomics; interacts, collaborates, trains and/or advises other investigators, support personnel and other users; conducts research in analytical chemistry and biochemistry; prepares samples, performs experiments, collects and analyzes the data; collaborates with MS on metabolomics; produces publishable contributions and presents results at national scientific conferences; initiates collaborations with researchers at OSU and with industry; collaborates with and advises other researchers on improvement of metabolomics databases, software and web servers; co-organizes CCIC NMR workshops and conferences and participates as instructor; aids Executive Director (ED) and collaborators with preparation of competitive research proposals for external funding; assists other CCIC NMR staff scientists with all other aspects of NMR Facility maintenance and operation; conducts continuing education; works with Bruker engineers on maintenance and repair issues of NMR instrumentation.
